DPL is committed to maintaining and enforcing an effective Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) program that applies to all employees. This commitment, centers on the belief that all accidents are preventable.

The safety and health of DPL employees and the protection of the environment are primary consideration in the planning and implementation of all its activities. DPL management and its employees are committed to and responsible for health, safety and environmental issues at their locations.

DPL aspires to fully understand the impacts that all of its operations have, or could potentially have on the environment in which they are conducted. Through this understanding, DPL adopts and implements a range of environmental management techniques to ensure environmental safety.
